SPE 6.7L EMPEROR TURBO SYSTEM
The SPE 6.7L Emperor Turbo System is a 100% drop-in turbo system for the 2011-2019 6.7L Powerstroke.
The SPE 6.7L Emperor Turbo Kit is a 100% drop-in turbo system for the 2011-2019 6.7L Powerstroke. This system is the perfect solution for the enthusiast wanting the reliability of a non- VGT turbo or the ability to support more power with their 6.7L Powerstroke. It can also be used as a replacement for the problematic Garrett GT32 single sequential turbocharger (SST) found on the 2011-2014 year model.
Due to the way SPE has designed the turbo system it is an effortless upgrade/replacement turbo option that even a novice can install. In fact, the hardest part is removing the factory turbo.
This turbo system does NOT require any extra components*. It can be used as a 100% drop in replacement or as an upgrade. It uses the factory driver’s side manifold and an included, SPE designed, aftermarket passenger side manifold. This kit maintains the factory driver side up pipe (passenger side up pipe and manifold are no longer used), 2015+ style downpipe, 15+ lower intake manifold, and 11-19 upper intake manifold.

When SPE went into developing this system they wanted to eliminate the problems that currently plague kits on the market; one being the turbo up pipes. All other non-VGT turbo kits on the market require one or two custom up pipes. This seems great when it’s sold to the customer as if though its an upgrade. Unfortunately, it is not, in our opinion. The problem with custom up pipes is the fact that they are a wear item. The bellows that allow for expanding and contracting are the actual wear item. Metal can only expand and contract so many times before cracking. When this happens to an aftermarket kit (not an if but when) you have to get another set of uppipes. Now this is where the main problem comes into play, availability. Even in the best circumstances, 1-2 days can really hinder the customer with a $50,000+ immobile paperweight.
SPE has removed this issue from the equation by eliminating the need for it. The SPE Emperor Turbo System still utilizes a bellow in the factory driver side up pipe which is still retained. Thus creating a system that only has one up pipe and it can be replaced with a factory part available via a Ford dealership or auto parts store.
The main hurdle in the design was doing all of the design work and still keeping it drop in capable all while still utilizing the factory intake manifolds. This helped in keeping the kit cost down for the customer just wanting to only replace the turbo and not all of their intake piping.
The SPE Emperor Turbo System also utilizes a standard T4 Flange on the exhaust manifold. The kit was designed to use the exhaust manifold allowing you to change turbo size without having to change to different up pipes even if moving to a different frame turbo size all together such as when going from an s300 to an s400. This is unlike most other comparable kits on the market.
This system was also designed with modularity in mind. SPE wants our customers to be able to start with the basic system if they choose, and be able to upgrade later with minimal cost and waste.
KEY COMPONENT FEATURES
Exhaust Manifold- Cast out of 600 series ductile iron. SPE’s design retains the original Hot-V principles of getting the heat and exhaust flow to the turbo as quickly as possible. SPE designed the manifold to operate with dual volute T4 turbos. This manifold also has exhaust pulse optimization based off of runner lengths and engine firing order, one major key to great turbo spool up. A factory EGT bung is also cast in.
Turbocharger - The SPE turbos were designed in-house and are upgraded versions of the popular S300 series. Weak points were addressed including much higher quality castings, bearing material, and machine work and the end result is an even stronger, better design. They are currently available in 3 versions a 63mm, 66mm, 70mm compressor inlet size. All models will have an 80/73 turbine. It also has received slight design changes from the normal s300 variant to be optimized for the 6.7L engine to help with back pressure and spool up. Almost all the parts are compatible with the standard s300 turbos. Including turbine housings and rebuild kits, to help with serviceability and longevity.
Pedestal - The Pedestal is hard anodized to minimize oxidation and corrosion common on raw aluminum. When bolted to an iron block this helps to also minimize leaks over time. The oil return is a form fit silicone hose allowing for easy turbo installation and is much more reliable than a steel flex drain. The drain is also a no fuss push-in design no fittings to tighten or worry about.

I have a 2013 F250 with 237000 mi before installing the turbo I heard a rattling sound coming from the engine every time I would shut it down thinking it was something on the front of the engine back but after installing the turbo the sound was gone it end up being that I had a bad stock turbo the truck has been fully deleted. I was getting 19 to 21 mpg on flat after installing the turbo, the boost power increase dramatically and I’m averaging around 25 mpg 28 mpg with a lot more power and it cleaned up the engine area dramatically.
Everything came well packaged and the install went seamlessly. The video Dan put together on YouTube made it even easier. No fitment issues anywhere and No leaks.
install went good. there is a few things i would have done differently. the only thing i do not like is rubber draintube on turbo. the dry fit processes took longer than expected. got another emperor kit going on tomorrow. tuner is Sunny Diesel. 363 race bearing turbo. sct x4 custom tune. stock hp and ccv reroute. truck runs great.
Been supporting SPE for a few years now, this team is by far the best all the way around. This turbo is a monster and just another product from SPE that shows the quality one would hope to get these days. I upgraded to the 10mm stroker fuel pump at the same time and being new to the non VGT I was a little nervous. A whole new beast has showed up with this setup, couldn’t be more happy and pleased.
I do want to note that in the past I have been less than happy with the way prior orders had been handled in regards of shipment, delays, and communications. I’d also like to commend the customer service I’ve received over my last few orders. Communication has been spot on, any questions I have had we’re answered promptly with the information I needed. Going to try and keep it short and sweet SPE is absolutely amazing had a absolutely terrible experience with MDC diesel/ Smedding diesel put one of there s369s in my truck didn’t last 2 months and it completely blew out they proceeded to make me pay 400$ to over night ship it back to them and have then blame it on my truck having “low oil pressure” issues witch was complete bs and have talked to 4 other people they said the same thing to and because I started to ask questions they proceeded to tell me they weren’t gonna help me and sent me back the turbo in pieces so EVERYONE stay away from MDC diesel if you want a bad ass turbo for your 6.7 SPE is the way to go guys I got the ball betting 366 and it’s AMAZING HUGE difference compared to my last one and it sounds AMAZING Chance and Amy thank you guys so much for getting us the turbo fast this is my 3rd product from you guys and every part I get has been completely worth it

Amazing great fit easy install hardest part is getting old one out for sure! I went with the 66mm definitely a big difference from stock whole different driving style. the turbo spools up good not a bunch of lag or smoke pretty amazing for a non vgt set up love it!
Went with the Emperor kit paired with the S370 ball bearing turbo. Truck has a Warren 55% over pump and Fass 220 feeding it for fuel. As for the Emperor kit it fits very well and one of the cleanest looking set ups on the market for these trucks. Drivability of this set up is amazing charger comes up on boost very well on the street. Took it across the mountain to see how the truck would act climbing the hills and all’s I can say I’m very impressed and happy. Truck never got under the charger and ran very clean. Can’t wait to get it on the track and and dyno see what kind of times/numbers we get out of it. Would definitely recommend this set up to anyone looking into a non vgt charger for there truck. After going with a ball bearing charger there is definitely no other way to go. 10/10 recommend this kit from fit and finish to drivability.
Best thing ive done for my truck was the emperor kit i got the 363 ball bearing and love how fast it spools and the power is ridiculous this shop is ahead of the game when it comes to our trucks and look forward to future products....speaking of when you guys gonna make a nice cam for our 6.7s....? Absolutely love this set up on my 19 6.7. I went with the SPE s366 and I also put the 55% cp4 DIY kit from warren diesel. The kit came very well packaged and put together, it was a breeze to install once all the old parts were out. Truck drives and sounds great. Would definitely recommend this kit to anyone looking.

Just got my Emperor Turbo kit installed by Jisco Truck and Offroad. Fit was as advertised and the truck drives excellent. With the ball bearings, there is almost no turbo lag. Highly recommend this kit if you are looking to upgrade your 6.7 Powerstroke.

The install was super easy but taking the factory turbo out was a pain in the ass! Kit runs great and haven't had any issues yet. Paired with the Warren diesel 55% over kit and runs like a bat out of hell!
This kit is well worth the money for being one of the most affordable kits out there without breaking the bank. When you open the box, SPE takes pride in packaging. Everything was packed nicely and wrapped up to protect it all. They was not joking about the hardest part was removing the old turbo. The new turbo fit great with plenty of room to access all clamps. I plan on running a bigger fuel pump eventually to get even more out of it. It sounds great and even runs great. There is some turbo lag with the 66mm but it's not too bad. I definitely recommend this kit. Will be buying more products from SPE.

The fitment is so good I didn't even have to loosen drivers side up pipe! Bolted kit on one week and went on vacation pulling 5th wheel @22000lbs gcvw the next. I probably should have gone with 366 for my current set up but I wanted more power potential for future upgrades. My truck is a little soft under the charger but when it comes on it never stops pulling, hard to understand until you go for a ride. I will definitely continue to do business with SPE.
Just finished install of Emperor Turbo Kit on my 16 King Ranch. All I can say is wow. Completely different truck. Also removed SCT x 4 tuner and added EZ Lynk and SPE custom tunes. This truck is a beast and will move out. If you are thinking about upgrading your Turbo hands down the Emperor Kit is the way to go. SPE was awesome to work with! I am really pleased with the s370 ball bearing turbo! As far as drivability 8/10 low end has a little lag but not much, depending on tuning mine cleans up nicely. 10/10 would recommend this setup.
The product and the end result seems to be excellent quality and runs great. Did have some issues with getting the parts in a timely manner but the customer service was good about it.
What more could I say that the name and reputation doesn’t? Everything fit perfect and lined up perfect. All the parts are the best of quality as well. Good instructions and also a install video online if needed.

As an SPE dealer, we finally were able to install the emperor T4 system with an S363 charger. This kit was by far the most put together and ready for install kit that we have ordered. The truck performed great and install was as easy as could be. We will be stocking SPE products from now on and we look forward to doing a lot more business with them!
I bought the 70mm version of this turbo put it on and two days later left for Florida which is 1,018 miles which is about 16 hours from my house and I ran the 16 hours straight. I never had a single issue. I am running it on like 580 tune so I do have lag but it change the truck completely I love it.
CUSTOM DRAPERY I.
I purchased the 66MM version. Fit, finish, and quality is excellent. Turbo does take a little longer to light so it is a little less driveable but nothing you can't deal with. I do not have any fuel mods. My CCV was completely clogged unbeknownst to me and I was pushing oil out of my exhaust and had excessive smoke so I would suggest doing the CCV delete at the same time and it would also make the reinstallation go smoother. Taking the factory turbo out is definitely the hardest part. My instructions say to remove the drivers side exhaust manifold but you only remove the passenger's side.
Made the truck way more fun to drive and delivered to me quickly. Will definitely be doing more buisness with them.
Turbo and install hardware looks phenomenal! Attention to detail was paid close attention to. Waiting on a few more pieces to the puzzle then will be installed.
The fitment of this kit is spot on perfect! It is just as they say on their website it is harder to get the stock turbo out. The instructions made the install effortless. It also really woke my truck up. I love how it sounds and runs. For a larger turbo I still feel like I have little to almost no lag. This thing really runs!!
Had the s363 installed in my 2012 to replace the failed factory SST. Drivability is great with a big improvement in top end power especially. Their tuning is spot on as well. Great upgrade, the folks at SPE know their stuff and are extremely helpful and always working to be on the cutting edge.
