NEXT LEVEL DESIGN
During the design process, the SPE team looked at all of the downfalls with not only the 2 factory options (earlier composite pan & the later stamped steel version) but also looked at aftermarket options as well. Additionally, it was important to make it easy to install, easy to remove, & completely drain. That is why the pan features a built-in o-ring, a machined pry provision slot for easy removal, and sumped/tapered drain to allow for complete emptying of the oil. It also has a factory drain plug thread, so you can use whatever drain plug you prefer, whether it’s the factory option, an aftermarket option, or theSPE Billet Drain Plug Aside from the sheer installation & removal aspects, the SPE design team took it a step further and looked at what added features the customers would like to see. As a performance oriented manufacturer, it was a no-brainer to add a drain back for an atmospheric turbo. This eliminates the need to drill into your pan when doing compounds, etc. and when not in use, a ½” NPT plug is included. We didn’t forget about our cold weather folks either, so we added a provision for an optional heater upgrade should you be in a climate where freezing temperatures can create issues with oil viscosity and decreased oil circulation and lubricity.
Lastly, the SPE oil pan increases the overall oil capacity to 16 quarts which is an additional 3 quarts over stock.
Overall this is a really good upgrade for anyone looking for easier installation & removal, complete oil drainage, someone running (or considering running) an add-on turbocharger, or someone in a cold climate* where adding the oil heater is essential to optimal performance.

Snyder Performance has some of the best customer service I’ve had.
I recently ordered something from “another company”on the Thursday before New Years. I understand that it is a holiday and with all the Christmas shipping it might take a little longer to get my order shipped. However on the following Wednesday I still saw no action concerning my order. When I called the company and I got a mechanical recording that told me to leave a message. I also sent an email and later received a very terse response that my order had been prepared for shipping and they had been out for the holidays. Had they left a message on their voicemail that no orders would be processed during the holidays I would have know to expect my order later.
On the other hand Snyder Performance has been on the ball from the minute I placed my order. I have gotten emails and texts walking me through where my order was from the beginning. Great company and great customer service and the oil pan replacement for my Ford F350 works great. Big improvement.

Great product, excellent quality, happy with how it turned out. Looking foward to combating more Canadain -30 Celsius weather with this addition to the truck.

This oil pan has some heft to it. Doesn't hang too low even on my 22. Love having the drain plug on the bottom instead of the side and the ability to add a heater. However, I tried many different strategies for getting the o-ring to fit but it was just too big. Ended up cutting about an inch and a half. Despite cutting the o-ring it doesn't seem to be leaking at all so can't complain too much.

Decided to buy this after seeing how much oil is left in the stock pan when you drain it. This pan is really nice with the o ring instead of a gasket and the drain plug is at the bottom of the sump so ALL the oil drains. The thick flanges and extra ports are all bonuses. Had mine powder coated. Looks great. Can't wait to put all my other SPE parts on.

Just got it back from coating today and planning to install it at next service. Looks even better than I could’ve hoped and everything in the kit is as immaculate as I’ve come to expect from SPE. Another amazing product.

This oil pan with extra capacity is a great design and is much stronger than the stock steel pan from the factory. I have not installed it yet, as I am going to have it powder coat first along with my pipes that came with SPE Air Intake Kit. Will post pictures later. Another great product form SPE! Keep em' coming..........

New oil pan is awesome, adds 3 more quarts. Got the spe oil plug and the heater plug. Oil plug threads great. The heater plug has a really small coil. Only goes in the pan 1-2”. Started my truck this morning 13 degrees outside and the oil was 37. Expected it to be hotter like 70-80 but it did warm up to 80 degrees in 5 minutes. I’m satisfied just think of the coil was 6+ inches it would keep the oil warmer.
