Four stars because:
-my temps did drop idling by 10-11 degrees but operating temps stayed the same.
-The fitment is direct
-The quality and fitment are as good as factory
-$100 more then a new factory one and twice the size
(Get you a 1/2” trans cooler line tool to remove the lines)

After installing the trans oil cooler my temps dropped like they said it would. I haven’t gone over 155. It usually stays around 135-140 driving down the interstate at 75-80 MPH.

This is part 2 of my assessment of the Transcooler. After running the truck for several days making sure there was no air blocks in system and coolant was topped off, with the diameter of the new Transcooler compared to the oem it is a bit larger making more room for fluids to pass through and definitely help with circulation however the only noticeable difference I’ve got is with the truck idle temps dropping around 10/11 degrees but operating at the same temp as factory Transcooler. This is accompanied by the low temp high flow thermostat and SPE intercooler and all new Ford recommended coolant. I was hoping to see a bigger difference but for the price I’m still satisfied with the purchase.

Fit perfectly on the frame. The instructions lack information like you need a tool to remove the transmission lines. Other than that I'm satisfied for now. Ill need time to see how well it cools.

Easy install! I recommend getting it with the oil feed lines and pan! Temps are much lower now at cruising speeds. I’ll be looking forward to see how much lower while towing across the country.

Great product, running cooler while towing. Install was straight forward during a standard fluid and filter change. Really wished I had the Trans Pan when I did it, but something for next service
