Love the look of these billet hold downs! Generally easy to install (just had to get around the extra wiring that goes to my passenger side battery, and remove a bracket that attached to the ford hold down), and the fit was perfect.

Very happy with the SPE battery brackets. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, so in my books, they are well worth the money.

Fit perfectly. I have XS Power batteries and worked great. Stronger, changed color myself since these come black. Slightly pricey, but you gotta remember these are billet aluminum!

Good fitment with the factory hardware and batteries. However, the factory wiring harnesses utilize brackets that secure to the same battery bolt posts that DO NOT fit with the SPE battery hold down. This will require some modification which is not called out on their website.

The SPE battery hold-down kit looks way better that the factory rusty steel battery retainers that were on my truck. They are made extremely well and do not bend as the factory ones did. The only issue I ran into was having a Larger Odyssey battery with a battery insulation wrap that made the passenger side hood strut come into contact with the hold-down. I was able to adjust the battery and hold-down bracket to fix the issue with no trouble.

Nice construction. Do a good job of holding the battery in place. I noticed some of the powder coating was coming off after dealing with some acid leaking on the battery. Makes a nice touch to pretty up the engine bay.

Disappointed to see that the Ford OE battery holddowns were already corroding, I ordered SPE anodized holddowns. Very impressed with the mass, and quality of the product. They are aviation-worthy, for your truck!

My stock battery hold downs started to break down pretty quick. My truck is only 3 years old and they were about shot. The new billet ones from spe look great and are very beefy. Should last a long time.

These fit great and look so much better than the stock rusty battery hold down brackets.
Went to close the hood after installing them and realize the passenger side hood strut was hitting the new hood down bracket.
After a little investigation, I figured out the battery was not seated all the way into the mounts where it sits. So shoved it over and tighten it back down. Re check the strut clearance and all good this time.
