During the research & development of any new product, the team at SPE takes a very holistic engineering approach. That means it’s not uncommon for the R&D team to be developing one part when the decision is made to develop another one. This was the case when the idea of the SPE Super Duty Cab Mounts came to fruition. It was very obvious that the factory cab mounts from a not-so-high-mileage Powerstroke absolutely needed to be replaced before the cab went down.

In true SPE fashion, they designed the mounts around a billet housing rather than inferior coated stamped steel ones that the factory and aftermarket use. The stamped mild steel is one of the leading causes of the deterioration of not only the housing but the rubber as well.

These billet housings allow for tighter tolerances for an overall better fit and ride quality. The SPE Mounts use thick silicone isolators formulated for the absolute best performance, ride, and longevity. Between each major contact point, we utilize nylon spacers, so no marring occurs on the cab or frame. SPE supplies zinc-coated hardware instead of cheap galvanized factory-style bolts, all in the name of quality.

These mounts are amazing, improved ride quality 120%. My recommendation to anyone doing this job, if you're able to heat the nut instead of the bolt. Do that, the bolts came out like butter. Even just using a heat gun no torch!

Let's start with the positives, the mounts are of very high quality, an upgrade in every way to your truck. Lifting the truck and installing the new mounts is easy with a floor jack and bottle jack. Slide the new mounts in, torque them down, better than new! The job itself of removing the old bolts, is one of the most frustrating things I've done when they don't "just turn out" like they should. I used heat, (a must!) broke a front bolt off, stripped a couple cage nuts, did not use an impact wrench, stripped a bolt head. Be ready for some major frustration if you have trouble with the front bolts as I did. (22mm inside cage nuts) Once finished, you'll be glad you never have to go down that rabbit hole again... the new bolts will come out easier, the truck will ride better and is definitely worth the peace of mind knowing they're fixed with the right parts.

Fantastic product!! This is the 2nd time changing out my cab mounts on my 2012 F250 in probably 4-5 years. I tried out some polyurethane mounds and the were the worst so I went back to stock. Now that they went to crap, I decided to try these out and I am very glad I did!! These are very well made mounts, perfect fit, and a great ride. Hopefully they will last the rest of this trucks life. Highly recommend!!

Installed these on my 2011 F250. Absolutely night and day difference. It’s still a truck, so don’t expect a Cadillac like ride but man. I’m mad at myself for not doing it sooner. Old mounts were totally goners. The factory bolts fought me the entire length of their threads on the way out. And I had to get the sawzall out to remove the front factory mounts. They had rusted in place. But once the new ones were in and torqued I went for a drive on the bumpiest dirt road I could find and, again, night and day difference. Body is more controlled, quieter and more comfortable. Don’t hesitate on doing these. Extremely high quality parts.

Great product! The process of taking them off probably will very for most but it is a difficult process with hard to remove bolts on a “16”. Once all the old hardware is off this kit really shines. New hardware and drastically changes the ride from stiff and rigid to smooth as butter. The product is very sturdy as well. I can’t imagine any problems coming from these parts.
